The Seattle Kraken brain trust knows where and when the 2024 NHL Draft will be held: Friday-Saturday at Sphere in Las Vegas. Still, many questions remain about which direction the club should take.
Will the Kraken use the 8th overall pick on a forward, where they’re already well-stocked, or a defenseman, where the cupboard is more bare? Will general manager Ron Francis spend any of his draft capital in trades for players who can help in 2024-25? How soon will prospects selected in previous drafts be ready to provide help to last season’s anemic offense?
