Last time, the Admirals and the Firebirds played a tight game, but the Firebirds managed to continue a winning streak that’s turned just about every game they’ve played up to this point into a moment of destiny; It does not matter what you do, they simply beat you.
Of course, plenty of things still hang in the air. Shane Wright is mobile and having a little fun with the social media team, which hopefully means that he’s soon to return, and what does the result of Zach L’Heureux’s outburst have on the rest of the series? Does he continue to get hammered by the officials? Or do the Admirals buckle down and try to tighten the screws on Coachella? Conversely, does Coachella, now knowing that the Ads are not necessarily super disciplined at the moment, try to bait Milwaukee? If they do, can they beat Grosenick more than once?
Really, the biggest question is how the first period goes; Milwaukee hasn’t been dragged into a game like Game 1 in a good long while, and they’re likely feeling pretty sore about the end result. They’re gonna be coming in like a house afire. The Firebirds need to be ready to counter it.
